St Mary's "Old Church", Clophill

A few pictures of St Mary's "Old Church", Clophill, Bedfordshire, England.

The old church building  known as Old St Mary's or The Old Parish Church, is at the edge of the village, and is estimated to be around 650 years old. The Church of England no longer has responsibility for the Old Parish Church, nor is it deemed to be consecrated; legally it is the responsibility of Central Bedfordshire Council.

These pictures were taken on a bright Sunday afternoon in May. The sky was very bland with little cloud making a poor back drop. I decided to give the pictures more atmosphere by grey scaling in post editing. The brightness and overall tone of the photographs could have been better matched. Perhaps, on a more 'interesting' day I will go back to the church and take some more photos.
